I just continue to see greed and people clawing for vicarious greatness at any cost as a never-ending downward spiral.  The next school will now have to spend 350 million for the next facility, and so on.

Money ultimately wins championships here. At least that is what most believe. So more, more, and more. For what? A championship? At what cost? I hope Texas Tech loses every single game for spending like this, on things that are ultimately entertainment, and just absolute nonsense.

I have already stated many times before how I feel about NIL and paying athletes (ahem ...[I]employees[/I]) directly. It has opened a Pandora's box that will continue to steal the souls of very talented young men and women, the schools that employ them, and the fan bases that follow them.  That's the direction this goes
