LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Seth Doege acknowledged that some Texas Tech players probably had their minds on the big win at Oklahoma and weren't as focused on Iowa State.
Doege threw for a season-low 171 yards as the 19th-ranked Red Raiders lost 41-7 to Iowa State on Saturday night.
"Tonight kind of proves that maybe some of us were still on Cloud Nine," Doege said. "Today you could tell that some guys weren't really mentally into it. And I made some mental mistakes, so it's a team effort."
