Seems to be a growing focus on these 4 states paired with the usual PA/NY/NJ/MD/FL/NE.

Fingers crossed we start gaining momentum in these states. Will be big if we land a couple from Hawaii too

Georgia seems to be a place where we are able to grab a kid or two each class over the years. Would love for us to get more Virginia kids in the mix. Northern Virginia is only a 6 hour drive from Syracuse.

It's the conference footprint and it makes sense. There's as much talent in Georgia than anywhere in the nation and we used to recruit Virginia hard. Getting back in their makes too much sense.

Not sure Texas will ever pan out for we seem to have terrible luck keeping kids from TX on the rooster.
VA, SC, and GA should be continued to hit hard lots of good kids in those areas and right in the conference foot print.

Do we believe getting Alton Robinson drafted will help us with Texas?

No tbh. He was the caliber of player who'd have gotten drafted regardless of where he went. The thing that will help SU with Texas is landing a couple of kids who stay their entire tenure and report positively to their respective high schools so in turn those coaches tell kids to give it a chance if you're looking to play major conference ball.

Well technically Robinson stayed his entire SU tenure and probably slid a little in the draft doing so. If he is giving us a positive plug in the lone star state then I think it does help.
