In my years at SU the great thing to take your mind off the crumbling stadium was that in 64, 65 and 66 we had a backfield of Floyd Little and Larry Csonka. Little was a consensus All American every year he played and Csonka was his senior season. It was great to be me at SU from 62-68. We were Independents then and never ranked lower than 10th nationally at the end of each year. Went to the SU – ND game in Yankee Stadium in 1963 which we won 14-7. My graduation was held in Archbold on a hot May day.
