Here's to remembering the unfathomable sacrifices that have been made on our behalf through the years. It's nearly impossible to imagine the dire conditions, terrible situations, and horrific circumstances in which our fighting men and women have struggled and perished. I have been lucky enough to go to several places around the world to pay my respects. Here are some photos I've collected along the way, I hope you enjoy them but that they also serve as sobering reminder. Thanks for looking.

Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery - Belgium
Resting place of many Americans who perished in the Rhineland Campaign and Battle of the Bulge. The Battle of the Bulge was the largest land battle ever fought by the US Army with over 1 million troops involved.

Ardennes Forest - Bastogne, Belgium
There are still the remnants of fox holes dug by US troops in these woods today.

National World War II Memorial - Washington, DC
Each star represents 100 Americans killed in action in WWII. There are over 4,000 of them.
