Was a thing of beauty. Really well designed, and TD's pitch fake sold it. Loved the emergence of the tight end in the middle of the field. More Aaron Hackett please.

Hackett’s a really nice football player.

He’s 6 catches, 30 yards and a TD away from matching Pierce’s production last year. I’m going to call TE an upgrade this year.

That is the biggest upgrade.

Pierce seemed to be good for 1-2 really bad penalties a game.

It was great seeing passes to the middle Of the field and getting the TE involved. Those things will be there for this offense if we can run the ball and throw out wide. Might as well take advantage of them. Those are the plays that lead to TD’s

I can't speak to their blocking, but Hackett and Benson can both get open, both can catch the ball. It's going to be a nice luxury, especially with our smaller inside guys seeming to struggle a bit early on (for whatever reason, injury, other, who knows).
