So while we were certainly not happy with the way this season went, they were devastated with theirs, because while we are cautiously optimistic as a fan base, they go all in with unrealistic expectations every year, in every sport. So when they crash and burn, it makes their losing that much more entertaining. (Remember their football team was supposed to be a “playoff team“ this year too. LOL.) In the end, we won NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS in soccer, cross country, and field hockey, just in the last few years, and certainly have a punchers chance in both men’s and women’s lacrosse this year. We have a long history of being above average in almost every sport. We have NFL Hall of Famer‘s and NBA legends, and the 2 greatest lacrosse players of all time. We always have something to celebrate or remember. Our campus in “Siberia“ is beautiful, and theirs is a dump. They have nothing, zero, zilch.
