he took the blame for the Wake performance on offense.. I know the results were bad but I wonder what he would have changed in that weather..

We may have some of that same weather against BC.

I think we saw that we cant run against a stacked D full of run blitzes , I hope he just lives and dies with the same game plan. the short quick passes against VT will work in the wind without the rain, just catch the ball.

maybe we cant get deep so they walk the safeties up even more and the throwing lanes get tighter but we cant got 3 and out punt all day either.

He made up for it on Saturday.

Wind above is only supposed to be like 10-12 miles an hour, nowhere near what we dealt with at Wake, no rain really either.

Was going by this thread...

BC opens -6 over Cuse...

Now am seeing this., looks like things have changed

National Weather service now says rain ending Friday night. Partly cloudy with a high of 60 on Saturday. Perfect weather for our house!

More worried about the wind, Babers has said wind affects the offense more than rain.

50% rain and 20 MPH wind. rain vs pouring rain may make a difference..

hopefully they have a game plan to handle weather better this time.

i hope they just run the offense and trust the kids more.

This is just another reason why I like Babers...he knows there has to be a strong presence in the running game and it isn't just throwing the ball all over the yard. Hopefully, the O-Line/Babers will learn from the Wake and find a way to plow the field for Strickland. Dungey may have a tough time running in the wet and possibly more than Wake as he looked kind of slow then and after the knee got tweaked I'm not so sure how much he'll be a factor in the running game on a wet field.
