  1. Rebounding. Yes, they play physical, but they were much smaller and lacked depth, and we still let them outrebound us. Same old issue, different year.
  2. Perimeter defense--so strong last year, but we have a ways to go this year. Too many open looks, too many threes dropping thus far in the season.

Nice to get the win, though.

Let's Go Orange!!!

*for me personally, as I live in Minneapolis, can't stand the Gophers, and hate this dipshit local fanbase for what hostile, front running douchebags they acted like when we lost to them in football last year, a game I attended

Glad we won for your sake. I hate to second guess JAB but shouldn't DC2 have played somewhat down the stretch especially when the lost Zeller brother was out with foul trouble.

It is the first good competition Cuse has played so don't rush to judgement. I was a little more concerned with some of the interior looks Minny got. We were spoiled by the perimeter D last year so some coming back to earth is expected...but you are right, they've a ways to go. Thought it was a good test and they passed it. Ennis quieted down and they really did a nice job against the press.

I predict three stitches for CJ

For me the bad was JB's decision to try and force Baye down the stretch. Coleman and Rak both played outstanding. Baye just didn't have it tonight. Luckily JB realized this with about 4 minutes to go or I don't think we would have won. Question the move altogether, but we won.

The top of the zone is turning into a legit concern. We got spoiled with MCW and Triche's excellence last year.

Perhaps, but there was another boxing like moment with JB was chewing Gbinje's ear after his pocket got picked.
that was bad, critical time in the game... cant have it.

I think this was a great opportunity for Ennis to cut his teeth. and he played much better as the game progressed.

if he wants a visible scar he will ask for none. he needs atleast 10 for that to be less than noticeble

I would say 10-12 probably right?
Typically now they utilize more sutures for a facial laceration (micro sutures) which are utilized to minimize the scarring. I'd bet on 9

I trust your judgement every time, brother.
Edit: Windows asked me to overwrite or keep both files in my arsenal, which means there are variety of Marsh trophies already.

Rebounding was a little disappointing. Hats off to that Elliason kid. Competitor. Solid player even though he clearly doesn't pass the look test. I thought Minnesota was really scrappy, pretty well coached, and unselfish. This was a tough test for Ennis and SU. Felt we were battling the refs on occasion although the FT totals were lopsided in our favor. Cal has better athletes than Minnesota almost everywhere but it might be an easier game. LGO!

This was a game where it looked like we could punish them inside, at least on putbacks. Rak and Coleman looked engaged early and Coleman was drawing fouls. Why Boeheim stayed with Keita, who can't outmuscle anyone or catch, for so long in the 2H was mindboggling.
