There's a new thing in 'Cuse and some think it's looney
it's got something to do with that kid, Trevor Cooney
Some players are known for all sorts of schticks
but seldom get famous for throwing up "bricks"
Athletes have nicknames like "flying tomato"
but who'd ever want one like "Shaky Potato"?
So what does it mean? this nonsensical phrase,
it's all about Cooney and the way that he plays!
He's herky and jerky , he weaves and he hooks
he ditches the defense to get open looks!
He can drive to the basket, the kid is unreal!
hit 5 threes in a row and then get 2 steals!
The skeptics they claimed he was D-2 at best
and in his first season did not past the test.
It takes more than a season for some kids to blossom
turns out Skakey Potatoes is two words for "awesome"
He stings like a bee and floats like a feather
