Since losing to us at the DOME on Jan. 19th, Pitt has lost three more – at home to Duke, at Louisville and Tuesday night at Clemson, (see small description below). They are waiting to rid themselves of their losing streak when we visit them this Sat. evening. Hopefully we will continue what we did vs. B.C. and keep their losing streak going.

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) Clemson senior guard Marcquise Reed scored 26 points and led a barrage from 3-point range as the Tigers defeated Pitt, 82-69, in an Atlantic Coast Conference game at Littlejohn Coliseum.

Reed and the Tigers (12-8, 2-5) rediscovered their shooting touch from long range, connecting on a season-high 14 3-point shots and shooting 51.9 percent from beyond the arc.

Xavier Johnson led the Panthers (12-9, 2-6) with a career-high 30 points, his seventh game with 20+ points this season to set a Pitt freshman record. Johnson's 30 points were tied for the second most in a game by a Pitt freshman and gave him 19 double-digit scoring games this season.

We will need to put some one in Johnson's face like we should have last night in front of Bowman.
This will be as tough a game as WE make it. Seems like when we go to Pitt nothing is easy.

Things to work on per JB - everything especially D.

Yesterday:
“I’m coaching like I’m 40 years old. Just keep going,” he said. “It’s a myth that you can’t coach when you’re 70. Look at Mike. It’s a bullshit myth. Mike Krzyzewski is as good a coach as he’s ever been and he’s 70. I feel better now than I did when I was 60. I’m working out, do pilates. When we lose, they say I’ve lost it. But when we win, they don’t say anything.” JB

Their record at home is impressive. While they lost to Duke and UNC at the Pete, they beat FSU and UL. Toney has a hurt hand. Looks like he might be able to play against us. Big game.

This will be a war...
I hope we crush those little shrimps. I hate Pitt fans and their stupid student zoo. The Manley Zoo was the real deal. They stole that from us.
