As luck would have it I had to go to a party with 50+ people tonight and decided to wear an SU golf shirt. Well as expected all I heard was “the football program still sucks” all night.

It is truly disappointing that this program missed a golden opportunity to win the casual fan back. They could not ask for a better schedule having a bad Pitt team, a bye week, and then a down UNC team coming in for homecoming to go 6-1. Now I am worried we may end up being 4-3 after the UNC game with a good NC State coming to the dome.

I have to say that after traveling to Clemson last week witnessing this team implode in the final minutes and then watch them once again fail to come up with another 4th down stop with 2 minutes left this week against a one dimensional Pitt team it is beyond frustrating.

I can’t even argue. It’s incredibly typical.

Missed opportunity alright, those are 50+ people you could have converted from the dark side with the right attitude.

We lost. We scored over almost 40 points and lost. We are 4-2 heading into our bye week. It's nothing like the past 15 years. Tons of positives with this team and coach.

The “right attitude” isn’t doing squat at this point. Team just has to come through and win a game they had a late lead in against a mediocre team.
