It seems to me that the November and December schedule would have an impact on how you play in January when the conference schedule begins: if you have a weak early schedule you might not be prepared for the level of completion in the conference. Bob McKenney of Jamesville Dewitt was interviewed on a local radio show and the subject of Fab Melo came up. Bob suggested that if the NBA wanted Fab he should go because the NBA, with expanded rosters, is more of a developmental league than it used to be. Bud Poliquin suggested that Fab would develop more if he were on an NBA team because he’d be practicing against NBA players, not college players.
