the thing that makes me think this is not an anomaly is how when he refers to recruiting he constantly refers to 2 and 3 star guys who maybe arent as talented but are "hard-nosed" and have great character and we can win more games that people think

i would rather hear him say, these are great athletes and great talents that arent getting noticed because they play in under covered areas or play for programs who are under the radar but are EVERY BIT AS TALENTED as the 4 and 5 star players and its our job to make sure they get the coaching and guidence to develop their natural talent

i am a little scared he really thinks our kids arent as good and our only chance is to "out tough" our opponents.  i think we should be tough but there is mountains of evidence that measurables and noteriety dont equate to "talent" in many cases
