I know it might make it a little less special after a huge win, but I also think we'd all be thrilled to be in a place where no home win was truly [I][B]that[/B][/I] special, because we were just flat out known for bringing it every game at home... and it'd be a cool tradition for the players, I think. Meanwhile, someone mentioned in a thread on here, or it may have even been in the game thread (I was reading on my phone, so I don't remember who - sorry) that we should have one side of the stadium yell "WHO'S HOUSE???" and the other side yell "OUR HOUSE!!!" I think it would be really sick if the crowd did that as the players took the field, but the players knew that was only for them to use after a home win... Some motivation as they took the field, and something to get the place rocking BEFORE kickoff. It could also be done coming out of the locker room for the second half, and organically throughout the game - perhaps to try to crank the energy up to spark comebacks and such. I also think it could foster a type of mentality that might help us avoid debacles like the MTSU home loss. I graduated in '08, so I was there for some bad times in football, and I remember having discussions with friends a few times about how we weren't utilizing the Dome and some of the traditions were kind of corny and ineffective (like jingling keys on third down). This would reverse that in a big way... and if you think of some of the top programs, the way they take the field is a huge deal to the players and the fans, and probably factors into recruiting. We have a special venue, and we should be using it to the max for stuff like this. [/QUOTE]
