- Now that we might have a chance to make the Dance, I’m getting nervous over these games again. We kept getting the lead back to 15 and I felt that if we could hit one more shot, that that would do it and I could relax. We never did. Instead they got it down to 7. Joe Girard took over down the stretch and put it away for us. But it was never easy.

- That was a different BC team than we faced in the Jim Christian era. They are aggressive and physical and rubbed Jesse Edwards face in his press clippings. Earl Grant will have them winning before you know it.

- Jesse Edwards night: 0 for 3, no points 2 rebounds, a block and a steal but a turnover and 5 fouls. That’s -5NP.

- I ave to wonder if benny Williams has the mentality – the internal confidence and the ruthlessness to become a star basketball player, even if he’s got the body for it.

- Buddy Boeheim scored two points in the second half of a road game that was never out of doubt. He wound up 6 for 19 from the field and 2 for 9 from the arc. the good thing is that we won anyway. But how often will we do that?

Chance at making the big dance? Do you mean like winning the ACC tournament?
We could win the rest of our regular season games and I still can’t see how we would get an invite with so many terrible losses.

Lunardi said today on the Axeman's show that 6-2 and a trip to the ACC semis could do it if three of the wins were Quad 1.

It is not worth thinking about, but I believe the team would be a lock if it ran the table. That would include a win over Duke and road wins against Virginia Tech, North Carolina, and Notre Dame. I expect the team would crack the Top 50 in every objective ranking system.
