- When the team came back out for the second half up 27-7, I said, “Well all we need to do is win the second half to have a comfortable, relaxed afternoon. Heck, we won the second half vs. Pitt 13-10 after being down 0-31 at halftime. Instead we were out-scored in the second half 6-18 and had to catch that on-sides kick. It would have bene just like SU to not get the onsides kick last week on the referee’s call and then not get this one. I’m just glad that football teams don’t have to make their free throws.

- Jackson Meeks, who has had a strong year, had two drops on the same third quarter drive and then let that clinching touchdown late in the fourth quarter slide down his jersey and knock him in the nuts when he fell in the end zone.

We wanted the ball to start and that first drive set the right tone.

I didn't know about that ugly Cal game you mentioned at the start of the post. I'd have cried too.

Cals a decent team and was at home we answered their good drives. The stars aligned when the game was over so they could get it to 8. Was never in doubt.

I guess it's a little annoying that this and Georgia Tech our 2 best and near flawless games weren't 20 points wins though.

I was nervous at times in the second half but we never fell behind all game. What a tasty conference win.
