- We had five guys in double figures, which is great. But those guys scored 77 of our 79 points. I realize that it was a game where JB was going to go with his best guys as much as possible. But that’s the problem: he’s got 5 best guys, not 6 or 7 or 8.

- We are still many too many turnovers. Richardson had 5 of them, Cooney 3, Roberson 3. We’ve got to clean that up.

- DaJuan Coleman actually had an amazing 8 rebounds in 13 minutes. But he had 13 minutes because the refs don’t seem to understand “the principle of verticality” If you are standing still with your arms raised straight up, it’s not supposed to be a foul when the offensive guy throws himself into you.

- Both ESPN’s and SU’s box scores credit Daniel Hamilton with 43 minutes played. This wasn’t 2009. SU actually breaks it down as 23 minutes played in the first half and 20 in the second. Maybe the first half went into overtime.

SU / UConn needed some sort of OT, so that guy provided it.

Only downside is, we don't get to beat UConn again this season.
(Unless we meet again in the NCAA's)

Just to note. 5th game in a row our opponent has had more fg attempts then us after foul shots differential.
2-3 behind today as there was a lot of one and ones.

Love winning the boards 2nd straight game :)

I really like short downsides.

I think the really big downside in this game was the 2-3 defence on Roberson's side of the court. I'm not sure if it was Roberson not sliding up quick enough/being indecisive or more on the guard. But we worked over for a stretch of plays, that were simple set ups and clear looks.
They need to figure this out.

But the upside on this game was amazing!

I can't believe that you didn't pick up on this, but we missed 15 free throws today.

That would be the main downside from today.

That, and that we need one of the backcourt reserves to start making more consistent contributions.

I'm giving the guy a pass. His mind was on turkey and other things yesterday.
