- Well we got JJ Starling back and Chris Bell found his shot – and we lost by 16 to a team who also hadn’t beaten a power conference team. All the speculation about what games we might have won if JJ was playing and Chris hitting seems pointless.

- Bell found his shot but didn’t get his shot. He only attempted 5 shots in the game. There was one possession where Kyle Cuffe, who is 2 for 12 from three in his last two games jacked up a three as soon as he got down court, (it misses). On another possession somebody has Bell on one side and Cuffe on the other side and Cuffe got the ball. Four players got as many shots as Bell and Carlos, (who went 1 for 5), got as many.

- Jayre Davis and Elijah Moore were 0 for 3 and didn’t score. Both are clearly capable of Moore, (like scoring 24 on the nation’s #1 team).

- Petar Majstorovic played 13 minutes and got 2 points, 7 rebounds and an assist Eddie Lampkin played 18 minutes and got 4 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist. Is there such a thing as a Serbian rub?

- You can’t make comebacks if you can’t get stops and we can’t get stops. And yet we have at least one bad stretch per games that requires a comeback.

When our players are under stress they revert to hero ball. Year in, year out, in the old days, when the score was close as the clock ran down, we knew that we would win. Now we know that we will lose.
