- Nice win but Miami didn’t look much like the Top 25 team they were until last week.
- Our centers, Chukwu and Sidibie had probably their worst combined game with 4 points and a couple of missed play-ups in 40 minutes. They had 9 rebounds, (JB said that most of those were early) and 5 blocks. But there were a lot of rebounds they didn’t get and Miami led in second chance points 6-10.
- Battle since his big 34 point game vs. Wake is 9 for 28 from the field, including 7 for 19 from two point range. He’s getting double-teamed whenever he gets the ball and not getting the calls when he drives.
- Now we play North Carolina and Duke. The Tar Heels are so squeaky clean compared to sleazy Syracuse it’s hard to decide who to root for. Not. The student section should hold up some signs in Swahili. I’m sure the heels will know what they say.
