- The refs were whistle happy tonight, constantly interrupting the flow of the play and negating good plays with quick whistles. Poor DaJuan Coleman lost one basket off a good move because of a quick whistle on the defender, which made it a common foul and an inbounds play and they lost a basket in traffic when he got called for a travel no one could see. They called 44 fouls. Nobody fouled out but six different players had 4 fouls at the end. A total of 68 minutes out of a possible 240 and Tyler Roberson was limited to 7 minutes, (during which he had 5 points and 2 rebounds).
- Ty Battle ended a run of good games with a 3 for 9 performance, although the shots he made were big.
- We couldn’t keep John Collins off the boards, especially in the first half and he wound up with an impressive 23 points and 12 rebounds.
- It was the fourth straight game we’ve been out-rebounded.
