- It was Central Connecticut. We won’t play a team like this the rest of the year. The ’fun’ part of the schedule is over.
- We are still turning the ball over too much, (16 in this game).
- Trevor Cooney back-tracked with a 2 for 7 performance. With the Big East starting out, we may not see much of him, DuJuan Coleman or Jerami Grant for a while. Grant did pretty well but Coleman and Cooney kind of flunked their auditions for major playing time although Cooney’s status as the third guard may make his being part of the rotation a necessity.
- This is neither an Upside or a Downside: We went from dreaming of being a Final Four team to dreading being an NIT team. Both are possible but neither is likely.
