- Syracuse beat Brown 101-52 on March 14, 1986 in the Carrier Dome. On March 16, they lost to Navy, a team they’d beaten by 22 points in the finals of the Carrier Classic. The Montana game was fun but it was meaningless. Montana was so bad that they may have given the team a false sense of security. In the NCAAs, you start with the desert. Then you do the entrée.

- California may not have a David Robinson but they do have Allen Crabbe who out-shown Anthony Bennett with 19 points and 9 rebounds. And they also showed good spacing, ball movement and patience, which is needed to crack a zone. And they played good zone defense themselves. And you know how well we take our own medicine. And they will be the “home” team, (in the Eastern Regional!).

We did much better against the patient teams of G'Town & Pitt in the BET, so we may be okay here regardless.

Swc if you were watching the same game I was you saw amcalifornia team who is undisciplined takes insanenshtsnand loves running up and down the court. We match up nicely with them in my opinion.
