- That wasn’t Connecticut out there.

- Our defense, which looked overwhelming in the first two games was indifferent tonight. JB pointed out that they had only two scorers to cover and we let them score 51 points. That was 69% of their output. In the defense’s defense, they also took 34 of 51 shots, which is 67%.

- Brandon Triche, our shooting guard is 10 for 28 from the field, (.357). I actually think our second team, (Keita-Fair-Southerland-Waiters-Carter-Williams) has more firepower than our starting line-up, (Melo-Christmas-Joseph, Triche, Jardine).

- We have missed 24 of 62 free throws in three games. Our percentage of making them is .613, about the same as last year, which is not good.

Love the up-and downsides as well as the net points analysis. May I be so bold as to suggest that you move them back into one post? They end up getting separated, sometimes on different pages, and can be hard to find. Obviously, it's totally up to you.

SWC has been doing these posts a hell of a lot longer than the crap Axe does. I for one enjoy them.
