- Like so many games this year, it look good for a while but…

- 2-27: We had 14 empty trips out of 15 when the game was decided. We were 1 for 13 from the field with 4 turnovers, (three in a row at one point) and pulled down 7 rebounds, (three offensive, all on empty trips) to 14 for the Pack.

- Really, this whole combined SU Football and basketball season seemed like one season. Under-manned teams that can’t score and come up short, over and over again. A very broken record.

- Rakeem Christmas this year was like Dwight Freeney in 2001: he was fouled on literally every play but fought through it to have a great year. But what would he have bene able to do if we- or the refs- were able to keep the defense offense.

- Michael Gbinije’s “net points” this season: 0-6-10-3-0-0-11-5-16-14-31-5-7-17-12-1-18-minus1- 11-17-21-26-33-23-11-14-0-2-6. He looked really good there- for a while. Star players “bring it” eveyr game.

- Trevor Cooney missed 35 of 41 three point attempts in the last 6 games. Clank!

- Getting it done is here………………………………………………..........Kaleb Joseph and Ron Patterson are here.

The back court this season was the worst I can remember, and that goes back to the days of Jimmy Lee and Bug Williams. Rak and Roberson front court scoring again wasted by another anemic showing by the guards as Cooney/Joseph/Buss combined for 13 points on 4-17 (23.5%) ans 2-10 from the arc. I really hope JB makes some changes for next season with Richardson and Howard coming in.

this game was once again decided way too early. the entire concept of boxing out underneath is as foreign to this team and as slow to be adopted as the hybrid gas /electric vehicle is to america. "why let go of the past ! it worked so well". sadly we are entering a new age.
