The Duany Family

Because we've got five days until we play again and Capt. Tuttle mentioned their story in another thread, I thought I would take this opportunity to repost this SI article about Kueth Duany's family. A lot of you know the story and probably read the article when it was first published (nearly 7 years ago). I had read it at the time, but had really forgotten how impressive their story is. For those of you haven't read it, or don't know their story, it is really quite interesting.

I would love to read or hear about some kind of follow up on the family. Kueth was one of our all time favorite Orangemen and you never hear much about him.

I had the pleasure of sitting with Kueth for the 2002 Dave Bing dinner (yes, that season we all remember so well, but who knew). Amazing young man, who told us of how he was awoken one night and ushered, with his remaining family members, to the airport and out of the Sudan under a hail of automatic weapons fire.

I think he's working on his MBA at Syracuse (but online, from afar). He's around campus now and again.
