the first one came late in the first.. the ref ruled there was a player in the area. which in a sense there was. still throwing it straight into the ground is kinda lame in the rule allowing it..
my issue watching the play again is he actually threw it behind him the ball clearly lands behind his own feet so why isn't it a lateral? was it even reviewed for such a play? probably cost us a field goal if not a TO..
