The Fouling Issue

The Wake game was the second game this year where an SU opponent attempted 20 or more three pointers while also attempting more than 30 free throws. How is this possible? 42 free throws for Wake this game?

It almost seemed like when SU got a big lead, the refs were begging Wake to get back into it and trying to give them all the help they could get. I'm getting kind of sick and tired of the poor officiating within the ACC. Anticipation calls...whistles where there isn't anything close to contact...severely out of position refs making calls they have no business making. Put the whistles away, keep yourselves out of the spotlight, and let the players play.

The officiating flat out sucked yesterday. Good luck hing it wasn't a close game,or the lopsided calls in Wake's favor could have impacted the game and cost us a win.

i commented as much in the chat room. odd that a team with a huge lead and sitting back in a passive zone would foul more than the pressing team trying desperately to extend the game. fix was in. but if you think that was bad just wait til we hit cameron. we might see that pony tail kid play. vincent van dunk.
