The future of sports fandom has arrived

Clifton, or anyone else on here, really understand this stuff at a deep level. I have some ideas about assets to be secured, but I am not sure it will work. Msg me if you can give me some pointers. Thanks in advance.

I've tried to read up on it to understand but I haven't done it yet and kind of hope I don't need to. However don't be surprised if in five years crypto is the way to go.

The technology that's really important in a lot of this is "smart contracts." It's the kind of technology where in the future, precious pieces of paper (title for car, home deeds) can be digitized, secured, and have a proof of ownership. Blockchain technology makes this possible.

Exactly. Simply put, your collectibles are digitized. Easy to understand how a Honus Wagner card can be converted to a digital code that with access to it, could exactly reproduce the original paper copy. Only the entity with the Token (T in NFT) could unlock that code and do so. Not hard to see why that token would be as priceless as the original card. NFTs provide the same certificate of authenticity as the card would have to be used among traders.

So if I own an NFT for pi (~3.1415 etc ect ect) since it's mantissa is non-repeating it contains all already conceived or to-be-conceived arrangement of numbers*** then I will in fact fully own all information and your NFTs are void and counterfeit. So there!

All you're bits are belong to me!

***When I verify pi is a normalized number. Should be any time now.

This is what I do on an everyday basis. DM me and we can talk

NFT’s are also a big way for players to market themselves. Create an NFT design company to create NFT moments of the best plays for players like Tucker where they get their cut of the profits. Slam dunk way for generate revenue

“LSU and Syracuse are of the first group of colleges entering into the NFT arena meaningfully. We believe that their partnerships will only increase fan involvement and reach, while ushering in other universities,” said Trevor George, Co-CEO of RECUR. “The relationship with BrandR group allows us to create new promotional opportunities for student athletes who can now marry NFTs using university IP with athletes’ NIL. We’re very excited for what’s ahead.”

Extremely positive news. This is stuff that will help us get ahead of BC and peers

I’m as lost as last years Easter Egg
Read this and see how some guys are making cash. Five years from now it wouldn't surprise me if this was mainstream. Like people investing in mutual type funds of NFT. Maybe it's possible to already do it.

Gonna be a whole lot of people who ponied up for NFTs when most collect dust and are completely illiquid. 95% of all NFTs just sit with no buyer or sellers.

I mean, I think that might be an insult to Pokémon and sports cards at this point. Time will tell. But as of now less than 3% of all NFT collections draw 90% of the notional dollar amount. And over 1 million NFTs have been created in a year. Wash trading is rampant, liquidity is null, I just don't see it yet. Crypto space will become more tame and regulated over time and maybe the NFT space will grow more legs. I can certainly see it having a spot alongside gaming.

The main reason for that is due to the ease of just creating a 10k piece generative art collection, as time goes on the current NFT avatar phase will die and the market will shift over to actual created NFT art as well as collectibles such as sports moments and players ala sports cards. In addition NFT gaming will become even bigger and quite possibly the biggest sector

I agree. There will be big money involved with some of the biggest publishers. I had bought some $mana and $gnt a long time ago and haven't really checked on it. I prefer scalping equity. But the video game space is ripe for this kind of thing.
