Just before the season started, I attended a benefit dinner for the Syracuse Boys and Girls Club at Drumlins with the SU basketball team and coaching staff as the featured guests.
 
Each table was assigned a player, coach or GA to talk SU hoops with during dinner.  The people at my table were excited when we found out that we had been assigned to break bread with Dion Waiters.
 
Dion started out kind of quiet, but opened up when we started talking NFL football.  There were a number of NY Giant fans at the table.  As you might guess, Dion is an Eagles fan and does not like the Giants at all.  Took some glee rubbing in a bad loss the Giants suffered at the hands of the Eagles the season before.  He can talk some serious trash.
 
I asked him with Kemba gone, who the best trash talker was in the Big East.  He immediately smiled and asked for clarification.  "You mean, other than me, right?".  Yes Dion, other than you, who is the best trash talked in the conference.
