They would have won by 10 if they had simply drove the ball instead of shooting jumpers. They always had at least 2 match ups on the court where they could always beat their man off the bounce. Sampson specifically did a great job denying McDermitt down the stretch when they finally could get him the ball it was always in a tough spot where he was easily doubled. Their length and athletic ability bothered Creighton's offense consistently throughout. St. John's is a strange team in that they have one of the most physically talented teams in the country but none of them shoot it well and they collectively don't seem to know how to use it to their advantage on a regular basis.
