The key to for thisfootball program to improve is finding a QB

While Greg Robinson could not coach his way out of a box the guy did recruit Ryan Nassib to Syracuse and Doug Marrone who could coach got a lot of Nassib and helped stabilize this football program. I have watched Hunt a lot these past 6 games and honestly I don't see him as the long term fix. Hunt has the duel threat aspect which I like, but his passing ability is very sub-standard and he doesn't read the defense well if his first read is covered. While the WRs have struggled I just hope Shafer/McDonald find some QBs and once we fix that position we can improve nationally.

Based on recruiting offers, Goal #1 is to find a playmaker at QB; followed closely by finding playmakers at WR. I agree that they should recruit by throwing numbers at the skill positions.

We have already done that I hear.....need to grab another WR or two RB looks pretty good. continue to get speedy lbs

What's great about college football is that no player is a long term solution. The good ones leave and have to be replaced. The no so good ones have a finite shelf life no matter what. Having McNabb for 4 years guaranteed us nothing once he was gone. As good as Winston is, FSU won't have him for longer than 4 years (most likely 2).

Hunt's arm is what it is, but it's too early to draw conclusions about how good/bad his decision making is going to be. Nassib wasn't good at progressions as a sophomore and he was able to practice in the same offense the year before he was the starter. Hunt has only been in this offense for one spring and this season.

I highly doubt that a true frosh comes in and plays. Mitch Kimble is dual threat QB...go back and watch his tape. Very, very athletic kid.
