Pitt has the ball and the shot clock is winding down the ball goes out of bounds off of SU with .02 seconds left on the shot clock and rather than force Pitt to inbound the ball continue a possession that was going nowhere or use one of their timeouts, an official's timeout is called to work some commercials in.   Now Jamie Dixon has a chance to draw up a play to try to salvage the possession and hasn't even had to burn one of his TOs to do it.

Add in reviews to the TV timeouts and the games at times slow to a glacial pace.

And this isn't only a problem with College Basketball, its also an issue imo with College Football and the NFL and NBA as well.
