wonder what the were watching to not respot that ball.. i know there was not a great angle. but the end zone angle shows the ball down outside the line and they spotted inside the line. just because they cant get an exact spot they dont fix the spot at all?

No its not the reason. But it is a huge play. It affected the outcome.

i've no problem with shaffer throwing a challenge there even though i seriously doubted it would be overturned. it was his only chance for overtime and a chance for a W. the fake punt doomed us. we've lived by it all season but today ...ouch!

I found it odd that nobody else - including the announcers - mentioned this. It seemed obvious in live action, and was confirmed by watching the replay.

So did the refs missing a false start on Foy on the Ish TD.

And maybe we still score on the next play.

Maybe we do. Maybe Pitt punts and gets it back on a 3 and out. I mean we can do this all day, but it doesn't change the final result. Just saying I thought SU got some breaks with calls/spots today from an awful crew of officials.

Ok. How about the missed hold when Ishmael dropped the vertical route? And don't tell me it's a incidental. Holding is a penalty. It was a missed call. Too miss 3 ineligible s downfield is a bad missed call

It would be nice if the refs could actually get the plays right on the field. That missed forward progress call on the Fredericks catch was laughably bad - that's a call that refs in Pee Wee Football don't blow.
