When we got the TD I said thank God because I didn't want to have anything to do with 4th down.what were people thinking, and i know most were thinking it..
what to do on 4th down?
I was hoping, go for it, leave 20-30 secs if we miss and dont go up 6 giving them a start from the 25.
Turf monsterstrange the 2 games in a row that a guy on D had an INT and simple path to the endzone to ice the game and both fell down.

I actually didn't want him to score. I know, we'd go up by 10, but with over 2 minutes left, I wanted no part of Finley hitting pass after pass and giving them a shot at an onside kick to tie/win the game. I wanted our O to run out the clock. Or at least as much as they could, to leave NC St as little time as possible to score twice.strange the 2 games in a row that a guy on D had an INT and simple path to the endzone to ice the game and both fell down.
You've been burned by 17 years. We all have.I actually didn't want him to score. i was in the mindset of 3 pts does nothing in that spot and to run it twice worse comes to worse they have the ball inside the 5 with no timeouts and 25 -30 seconds
No way we were kicking it. Couldn't be unpredictable and risk going backwards on 3rd. Even on 4th I'd have sneaked it just to make sure Finley was throwing out of the end zone and would have to execute a play that gets out of bounds to be able to take a shot downfield assuming the ball was at the 1 or 2 and tried to push Dungey in.
