The Louisville game felt different than 2018

So hear my out. I'm clearly still on a pink cloud from opening weekend, but this team feels different than the 2018 team. The 2018 team, in some ways, felt flukey. It was Dungey vs the world and there was clearly some glaring weaknesses on that team. This team feels different in the sense that we 100% outmatched Louisville in every aspect. Our OLine was bigger, our defense was faster and tackled better, our wide receivers got open, and our game plan on both sides of the ball was better. This team has legit pro guys too. Bergeron, Tucker, Williams, Duce, Thompson and Mikel are all guys who will be drafted. This feels more like a 90s team that had serious talent, than the 2018 team, and I think with our schedule it's not crazy that we get to 10 wins and a NY6 bowl.

Hmmm. One of the reasons I enjoyed 2018 so much was because it didn't feel flukey to me. We won most of those games convincingly. The UNC win by 3 was the only one of our 10 wins that was within 10.

Now, 2010? That was flukey.
