I think you are blending the good Ds together though.  This past years D was great, ones prior to that were good- the primary difference being the presence of Fab.  NN could be a good facsimile of the Fab role.
 
Yes, with NN JB would have his hands full figuring out the minutes and positions of the front court.  He would need to give minutes to one of them at the PF, and that is not even including BMK in the discussion.  Because, yes, I think (and hope)  BMK would be asked to consider the RS.  And for the good of the future of the program (and BMK the player would benefit) he takes it.  Normally JB would not do this, but this is not a normal circumstance.
I do think the offensive potential of DC2, Dirty, CJ, Cooney, and BT/MCW is excellent.  Rivals that of '09-'10.
But the flip side of a D involving MCW, BT, CJ, Dirty and NN would be nasty.  Rivals this past years.
 
In the end, it comes down to giving JB as many weapons as possible.  NN would add a another top notch player.  JB would need to figure out how to make it all work.  If NN takes away minutes that were previously given to BMK and Rak, then you don't lose anything offensively from what happened in recent prior years.
