I've heard of maybe a quarter of them. (Actually less than that- I counted 16 of 72.)

Thanks for posting. I never heard that about Jim Brown before. Just amazing. Greatest all around team sport athlete of all time.

I loved Jay Burson when he played for Ohio State (before almost getting killed by Ed Horton of Iowa), but I never realized he had been the leading high school scorer a few years earlier.
