We were in the best game of the 80's, (really?), played the best team of the 90's and were the surprise champion of the 2000's.

That Florida team from 2006 was also a #3 seed. They didn't have a superstar like Melo so I could argue they were more surprising at the time. Since they all stuck around and repeated in 2007 perhaps that made 2006 less of a surprise in hindsight.
