HUGE AH...!

NCST. Staff and team have to begin to show improvement on the road. I’m not going to say it’s a must win. I don’t think that is the case, but it’s time to step up on the road.

I think the Wolfpack will try to make adjustment on defense based upon what our own Zack Pack has done against Clemson and LSU. TL might need to be prepared to mix things up a bit and pass more on 1st? I’m far from the expert on this stuff, but just a thought.

BC for NE rights. Eastern rival. This IS a must win for the staff and team.

LGO!

Shafer needs 2 coming in for sure, in hope that it's enough to save the job. NC St game looks like one where we will be "gassed" and get boat raced but you never know. Very curious to see what Mahoney does versus an average team.

BC should be a tight game, just a question if we can score 17-20 points as that should get us the win

is the nc st qb a senior?

does anyone have the latest bowl projections? Can we still get into a bowl with our APR and the teams remaining?

I think they are big for our team and the confidence of the young players on the roster but in terms of Shafer keeping his job these two games are meaningless. The decision one way or another has already been made.

I don't think they will change anything.

i wouldnt call nc state average they are below average mascerating as average thanks to a very easy schedule so far

Here's the math: 80 bowl teams, 62 teams have 6 wins right now. 18 teams have 5 wins. It would seem that at least some 5 win teams will get bids. Yes, if we win out we have a chance, assuming our players have been doing their homework. Foxsports.com game predictor says NC St wins 61.4% of the time against us. I'd presume similar odds against BC. Thus our odds are low but not impossible.

NCS appears to be a very bad matchup for us. Their D is very good against the run, which is our strongest part of our offense. Their pass D is only average.

It is going to take smart game plans on both parts of the ball and sharp execution.

Huge games I'm pumped I want a win badly just like everyone else. Either way we win and then get bc in the dome we could end the year on a high note. Clemson close and 2 wins to end the year. And if your telling me there's the slightest chance of 5 win bowl, well I'll take it.

There was an article on NJ.com that Rutgers could still go to a bowl if they finish 5-7.

So do I. I also fear he has had 2 concussions this year.

Pretty reasonable assumption, it's not everyday you see a kid knocked out on a football field twice in one season and then the hit at Lville whatever that was.

Hopefully the people implying that NCState isn't very good, as if we will win the game, won't be talking about how they were bigger/faster/stronger than us, have more seniors, their SOS is better than it looks, etc. if we lose.

Unfortunately, those things don't need to be mutually exclusive.

Is Fredericks playing this week?

If not, I don't see us running too much.

I'm assuming you believe Shafer's fate has already been decided???

Let's be clear - they could win and still be considered not very good. A win vs us proves nothing.
