For the prior two years, it seemed to me, and it must have seemed to the players too, that our Offense was just a hodge-podge of one-off plays which hoped that a star athlete would make a big play...only our stars were in development mode and couldn't really pull it off.  So that must make the 3-and-outs tougher and tougher to swallow.

But then you see this game, where clearly the Offense struggled early (combo of QB situation and a ridiculously good DL), only to break open a bit because some of those zero-negative plays were setting up bigger plays down the road.

What I mean is, that has to feel better than no-hope WR screens that go nowhere and are dispiriting

I guess this is just a follow-on thought to the smarter football people here who've said that Lester's offense has a "flow", but I just think that different angle might matter to the players.
