BC 6-4  FSU - SU.  we get our act together they could easily end 6-7
Pitt 4-6 SU- miami.  again we do our job and they could finish 4-8.
VT  5-5  Needs to beat Wake or  be looking at a must win to not finish 5-7
UL 7-3.  ND- kent   could finish with 10 or 7-6.
Rutgers 6-4. MSU- Maryland  could be also be staring at a bowl game win to not finish 6-7, that could also include blow out losses to almost every B10 team with a pulse. very lucky Indiana lost their QB and Mich got jobbed. 
PSU - 6-4 needs to beat Ill to not be 6-6 going into the bowl 
Uconn 2-7  probably beat SMU to finish 3-8
Temple 5-5 Cinci - probably needs to beat Tulane to get to a bowl 
WV - 6-5 a loss to iowa st has them staring at a 6-7 season.

thats a whole mess of bad-avg football  , not sure any of these teams would survive the oline and 4-QB issues either. the leap to top of the eastern teams is not a huge chasm. one-two players can be the difference
