its joked about quite a bit but am i wrong in remembering some pretty good info got out in there that never seems to get out now? have we lost the contacts in the inner circle? are people holding back more because its an open forum now? is SU better at keeping this hushed up?

I know this was brought up a few times after we left the $c0ut board, but what would it take to create a pay side? I know I'd be willing to pay a few bucks a month for "insider" content. Or are there outside forces keeping you from creating a pay side?

(Conspiracy Theorist - Heavy handed university officials or Trustees keeping the pay side down?)

Near the end the quality of the board started to slide as a result of people complaining about not getting enough info, or when info didn't pan out, or sharing it to the regular board. There are still insiders with a lot of quality information. I used to love just the little tidbits that you would never know about things going on behind the scenes.

Yeah, but weren't there also issues with us losing the $c0ut writer? If memory serves, that played a bigger role in the site demise than anything. $c0ut pulled their writing support and people griped about getting "value for their dollar"...etc

It's the weirdest board phenomenon. I'm grateful for whatever people want to share, understand when things on the ground change, and generally take everything with a grain of salt.
