The only way we can throw td passes...

You have a 250 pound quarterback. You have 4 chances from your one. Get in under center, and push. It's not hard, but GM outthinks the coverage every time.

Hunt walks in if he pulls the ball there. The whole defense crashed, horrendous awful read.

Don't get me wrong McDonald should've already been at the bus station by then

our o-line sucks big time.....no push at all.

when was the last time the o-line got a push? last year

Hunt really can't make a read on the read option. Iv always supported him, but I don't think he can be our QB anymore. He continues to make the same mistakes and I think he is struggling to read and react. It's been pretty evident in the early going that he isn't making the correct reads on the read option, he predetermines what he will do before the snap. He is supposed to read the d end and hand it off if he comes up field or keep it if he breaks down the line. Yet, every game he makes poor reads and keeps when he should hand off and hands off when he should keep

I think it is pretty cool that our punter has as many td passes this year as our QB. Hunt needs to be benched

1 TD pass in 5 games(fine, 4 1/2 games) is a disgrace. Bench Hunt go with the kids and see if any of them have what it takes. This program will be in the toilet until we find a good QB. With the exception of Nassib his senior year we have been looking for one since the day McNabb left

I agree. Hunt is banged up and less mobile now and that was his supposed strong point. Sure he has a lot of heart but heart only gets you a .5 sack at the end of the game while potentially being offsides (hopefully you get the reference). Either we give the ball to Wilson and see what happens or see what Kimble can do.

This offense can not finish. They can't score for example Lewis...close but not in. Get it to the 30 or 1 and can not finish. If it were complete failure I could see this struggle continuing but just having not one guy just take this thing to the house is killing this team. The mental breakdowns and failures have the coaches tying to pull rabbits out of their hats and who is to blame...the players, coaches? Both.

Nope wont happen.

Read the Fvck it interview from last week. GM basically said he is constantly evolving seeing what works and what doesnt. Since we ran a QB keeper against ND 1 time and it didnt succeed, he basically said that he wont be running it again cause it doesnt work. Seems reasonable.

I think the guy is pretty awful but if he can continue to increase the level of talent each year, I would rather let him fill up the roster with a talent upgrade and then if he hasnt gotten significantly better by then, replace him with a coach with proven ability to score lots of points. The new proven point scoring OC will have lots of talent to score points with, which will wins us games, which will keep recruiting on an upward trend. (who doesnt want to play for a team who scores a ton of points, in a controlled environment, and win a lot of games?)

I don't trust this fool to be a good recruiter

You're right. What they've been doing is working.

At least if they can't get a yard on four consecutive downs for a touchdown you could blame the players.

The garbage McD is pulling in the red zone is stupid. Long developing shotgun misdirection runs are not working, and they haven't all year. I know what's coming, so I have to assume the other team does as well.

dude miller gets consistently blown off the line of scrimmage. i understand that consistent snaps are important, but blocking is kind of an important thing too. it totally kills the offense. consistent pressure in the qbs face, and even disrupts the mesh point on hand offs at times. don't want to call a kid out (they are kids), but it is killing a line that should at least be decent.

there is no adult supervision on offense at all. last year we had perles who at least was an experienced offensive coach

How the is he going to recruit good players to this s**tshow?

Exactly. If you're a top HS playmaker, why would you want to play in this offense?

We are not closing the gap in recruiting. We are getting farther and farther behind. There's not one difference maker in next year's class. They are all 3 star players. Name one player coming in next summer that will step in and make a major difference on this team. The outlook for next year is pretty bleak. I don't know how this program is going to create any excitement to bring fans back next year. This program has given fans no reason to return after the horrendous performances of the first three home games.
