RIP, Pontiac. Most fun car I ever owned was a 1968 (manual-transmission) Firebird Convertible. Well, it was the best-looking car I ever owned... and it was the "most fun" car ...when it worked. It was born with a bum electric system that Pontiac could never really fix. And it ate gas filters the way my wireless mouse eats batteries. Oh, and then it kept over-heating ... so I had to carry five gallons of water in the trunk. Finally the emergency brake went. After that experience, I have never bought another American car.

I bought a chevy impala right after 9/11 (coincidence) and i went with my stars and stripes pride and bought american. 2 years and 3 trips into the shop later i havent had anything but a rice burner ever since and will never go back
