The Pontiac Aztec of wins

I bought a chevy impala right after 9/11 (coincidence) and i went with my stars and stripes pride and bought american. 2 years and 3 trips into the shop later i havent had anything but a rice burner ever since and will never go back

I blame American car company management. They force the engineers to produce inferior products with inferior materials so they can increase their profits. It's not like the laws of physics are any kinder to the people who make rice burners!

Ugly offensive performance, no question about it. And from here on out, every single game we're going to get every team's best shot.

But our players stepped up with the game on the line--that's a great sign. Hopefully, today provides coach-able moments for JB and staff to harp on in the week leading up to UNC.

But make no mistake: we've had plenty of teams that would have gotten caught looking ahead and dropped today's contest. Glad this group didn't.

Gotta say, that's one thing I've really liked about this year's team and I think that's what could make this a special year.
They've had a few games now where they just were not playing well and in real danger of getting beat, but found a way to gut out a gritty win at the end.
Today was another example - all of the sudden they found a way to shut down Miami's offense while at the same time finally getting some shots to drop.

The Pontiac Aztek is the Georgetown of automotive history

The thing about the Aztec was that it was meant to appeal to the young, outdoor-type driver. The problem was, no one in that demographic could really afford it. They would rather buy used jeeps. And who the hell cared if it turned into it's own tent? Most people who went outdoors had their own tents anyway.

Poor design, poor marketing, poor everything.

The pretty much sums up GM from 1980-2010. I liked when they bought Saab, gave them a car and told them to rebadge it and sell it as is since they were going broke. Saab threw out 90% of the car anyway. They chose bankruptcy over releasing such a poor car.
