His last in his fantastic career.A couple nights ago he smashed his helmet down in the dugout after making out. It was the first and only time I ever saw him show his frustration His slump was getting to him clearly. I'm glad that at the very least he has found enough of his bat to make himself comfortable at the plate which is huge for him consider there will be no post season for the Yankees again.BTW Michael Kay who is now starting to sound like a jerk stated that he believes Derek might come to an old-timer game but will not get on the field. I think he will. His parents have taught him well and he will go out there for the fans. He knows that his place in Yankee history and his relationship with the fans is important to everyone involved.
