Does Hodge join the 1's and either play inside or move Cam there or does Arciniega take over in the middle.

Should be an interesting battle. And it's nice that it's a competition and not finding three guys that can play.

Personally I think Cam would be great in the middle, and wouldn't force him to cover the wheel route, which is an issue.

I dont like Cam in the middle. He's been a OLB since HS and is really gonna be good there next year with all his expeience. Why move him his senior year and force him to learn a new position? This is not a Spruill situation. Spruill went back to a position he played since high school. Arcinieaga or Hodge there.

Just throwing it out there, I think his skill set would translate well there, and I think he'd be the best choice to run the defense. I can also see the sense in plugging Hodge in there with two seniors around him and getting him ready to be the anchor the defense after next year.

I love his game and intensity, but I seriously question if Lynch has the size to play MLB at this level.

Lynch is 230 lbs at 5'11"...similar in stature to Zak Thomas.

Hodge is much lighter, maybe 210 tops. I even remember talk of moving him to safety. He'd definitely need some major time in the weight room.

Hodge only been there for 4 months. Havent experienced S&C yet. He will be 225 this august.

London Fletcher ring a bell. He's bigger than Sirki.

Not a big deal.

I'm guessing they will give Hodge every chance to win the job. It's obvious this staff is stressing speed over size on defense.

I do expect a lot more 3-4 next season, especially with the stud LBers we have coming in.

I agree...IF we continue to recruit major beef on the DL. We'll need to keep the smaller LB's uncovered.

The 2 DT's we most likely bring in are Wayne Williams and Zeek Rodney. I guess WW has enough beef for both of them?

This is an interesting question to be sure but based on the schedule for next year, we are surely going to again be running more Okie 3-4 than our 'base' 4-3. It is likely both will be on the field most of the time.

Could see Luke lining up sometimes in passing situations as a DL. He could be very good putting pressure on the QB from there...

Any chance Moskal makes a push for the start and leaving Cam outside?? Either way, we have depth, at the position.

I almost think in those 3rd and longs he would be great lining up at DE and putting on a good pass rush or like you said putting him on the line.
