Chip I am not carrying any torch for the SEC. I just am amused by the blatant homerism on this board and the incessant whining about the SEC. They can't understand how the pundits give the SEC so much respect.  Tell me if the BE won the NCAA hoops championship seven years in a row- ya think the East Coast media machine might be in love with them?

I can't get inside the mind of the Committee as to why they moved FSU down.  I don't think it has much to do with last year but who knows maybe you're right. It should have nothing to do with last year but I think you can't keep coming out there with really mediocre performances against so-so teams and expect to sit at the top of the heap. If you are consistently life and death with teams that aren't even in the top 15 then folks are gonna be unimpressed, regardless of what you did last year.
