The Return of Otto's Army

I went to SU in the 1970's. Football was falling into the abyss during Ben's last two years, but basketball was a fun, rising program that was creating excitement at the dirt-floored Manley. The Manley Zoo was a thing to be a part of. Lax was mostly a curiosity, about a decade away from exploding into greatness.
What was the vibe of student support for FB, BB and Lax when you were there?

Early 80's.

We used to camp out for Hoops season tickets every year.

Football sucked back then, but student attendance was great. Must have been the cheap dome foam.

LAX was a niche sport. When I was a freshman, we had ZERO national titles. I grew up in CNY so I understood the game, but it was tough to explain it to someone from the Midwest.

If the leaders are seniors I sure hope that there are just as loyal, crazy dedicated undergraduates to take over the leadership roles.
